I need some books recommendations ... PLEASE !

Hey guys ! College will be over in a month for me and I'll have 4months vacation and I'd like to read a lot of series during my holidays. I wanted to know if you could advise me some : adult series, YA series, paranormal series, contemporary ... I really don't mind, I just want them to be awesome !! The series has to have, at least, already two books released ..

Tell me your favorites books series, I'm listening  ...

  4. The Fever series by Karen Moning! I loved this one. The whole series is out, so you won't have to wait.

I recommend the Vampire Academy series too, if you haven't read it already. Another favorite of mine.

Have you read Harry Potter? I know most people have. I just read it recently and can't believe I waited so long. LOVED it.

I also really like the Jolie Wilkins series by HP Mallory.

Yay for having time to read! Your blog is going to explode with reviews! LOL

  8. I highly recommend Prophecy of the Sisters and Guardian of the Gate by Michelle Zink...one of my favorite series! Oh, and if you haven't read Beautiful Creatures & Beautiful Darkness by Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia---you must try these! I love them! :D

  9. Hmm, series? *thinks* Have you read "Graceling" and "Fire" by Kristin Cashore or anything by Tamora Pierce (my favorite quartets by her are the Alanna/Lioness books, Immortals, and Protector of the Small)? While she doesn't write sequels, I'm about to read all three books by Carrie Vaughn. Um, I'm about to read two sequels I've been dying for that are April releases: "Fury of the Phoenix" by Cindy Pon (sequel to the amazing "Silver Phoenix") and "Eona" by Alison Goodman.

Do you like fairytale books? I'm reading the series by Jim C. Hines right now. Mercedes Lackey also has a "Tales of the 500 Kingdoms" series. Oh, and I just started reading an adult fantasy series, "Sword of Truth" by Terry Goodkind. I'm debating reading "A Song of Fire and Ice" by George R. R. Martin b/c it took him SIX years to write book five...and there are two more books still to come! *gulp*

  10. I would recommend Bitten by Kelley Armstrong. It's the first of her adult series Women of the Otherworld.
    Need series by Carrie Jones
    Midnighters by Scott Westerfeld
Tales of the Otori by Lian Hearn
Dark Guardian series by Rachel Hawthorne

  11. Have your read The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa? That is a good fantasy one.

The Diary Queen series by Catherine McCormack is a good contemp one.

The Morganville Vampire by Rachel Caine series is a good paranormal series.

    Hope this recs help :)

    2. Morganville Vampires Series (Young Adult)
    3. Hush Hush Series (YA)
    4. Downside Ghosts by Stacia Kane (Adult)
    5. Strange Angels Series by Lil Saintcrow (Adult)

  13. Let's see here, I may list some repeats, but that's okay, hopefully they'll be some new ones too:)

    1. The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
    2. Infinite Days by Rebecca Maizel (book 2 comes out in June I think)
    3. The Black Dagger Brotherhood (very adult, but AMAZING) by JR Ward
    4. Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes - book 2 (Trial by Fire) comes out in June.
    5. The Chicagoland Vampire series by Chloe Neill - these are adult as well, but more in the case of the characters being 27-28 instead of teenager than any strong sexual content. Love these books:)

    Hope that helps!

  14. I would reccomend:

The Ingo series by Helen Dunmore (mermaids.) All my family *loves* this series because it really feels like you're in the underwater world the author creates. It would be perfect if you're by the beach/

The Lacey Romance series (The Other Countess and The Queen's Lady) by Eve Edwards

The Need series by Carrie Jones

The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale and the companion books.

Daughter Of Fire and Ice and Sigrun's Secret by Marie Louise Jensen.

I Was Jane Austen's Best Friend and Jane Austen Stole My Boyfriend by Cora Harrison

    I hope these suggestions help!

    Paper Towns by John Green
Slice of Cherry by Dia Reeves
    Kiss It by Erin Downing

  18. The Pretty Litte Liars series is one of my favorites :) The show really over dramatizes it, but the books are great!

    Bonne lecture ! :D
