Guest post : Melody Manful, author of Guardian Angels + GIVEAWAYS !!

Today, I'm thrilled to greet Melody Manful on my blog for a guest post. She's the author of Guardian Angels, a book that sounds frigging amazing !! Okay, I'm leaving Melody present her wonderful book to you :

Okay, let’s do this thing!!
Bear with people; it’s my first time as a quest-poster, I’m kind of (really) freaking out a bit! (A lot!)
Frankly I never thought it would be this hard!
First thing is first, I’d like to thank Elodie, who allowed me this opportunity. And yes, our names are almost the same, we covered that XD.
Now back to business. The reason why I’m doing this guest post is so that, I can introduce all you awesome readers to my new book ‘Guardian Angels’.

About The Book:
I Dare You.
Look Over Your Shoulders.
Do You See Them?
They are behind you...
They are always behind you.
Abigail Cells had a nightmare the day before she met Gideon, the new guy in school who has every girl drooling just to be near him. In her nightmare, she was murdered by a magical creature. As she gets to know Gideon, she begins to remember pieces of her nightmare, and was shocked when Gideon turned out to be the creature from her nightmare. Who is Gideon really, should Abby allow herself to fall completely for him, or is he the next disaster waiting to happen?

Notes : The Story behind Guardian Angels – is as obvious as it gets, - Angels! XD It’s about all those times you want to make a decision, but can’t really make up your mind, - Yes or No? And if you do finally choose an answer was it your own, or did someone persuade you? – And who is this someone?
In Abigail’s case it’s about crushing and crashing at the same time.
It’s also about meeting that someone, and wanting to do everything in your power to be everything the person wants you to be, but as we all know it’s easier said than done, and change as I like to say, ‘is a pain in the --- hmm --- neck! LOL’.
And it’s also about getting caught between wrong and right, love, and having to make a choice, one that can be good for you but wrong for everyone else. It’s about wanting all the wrong things. It’s about friendship, love, and learning to start your own guard.

Characters: Although my book takes place in a place that one can only dream of going, my characters are all ‘normal’ if I’m allowed to use this word. I have three main characters, Gideon (In Black), Tristan (In White), and Abigail (the girl in the middle). Although both Gideon and Tristan aren’t humans, they are still ‘teenagers’, and are not different from your everyday teens from home and school. I know, teenagers sounds scary, but I promise you, we mean no harm

Author : As for me, I’m seventeen, and started writing this book when I was twelve. I can tell you this, I may love writing, but I’m pretty sure my editor doesn’t like me very much, because of how much I kept rewriting over and over again and making him edit each and every one! I’m from Ghana, but lives in Denmark with my family. It’s my first time as a writer; so honestly, I haven’t won anything or done anything over the top. I’m not sure this is how one does a quest-post At the moment though, I’m hoping to entertain readers with my story.

Giveaway: Not only I’m I given one physical book away, and two e-books away, I’m also given a link to a full download of one of the book’s original soundtrack. to the first 5 people. And also a preview of the original theme song! AND to top it off – one lucky winner, will win a real duplicate of Abigail’s medallion – (It’s around her neck in the cover picture) and yes, I know the girl looks like Selena Gomez, I’ve heard this lots of times, but unfortunately it’s not her – the cover is a work of digital art magic!
The song I’m given away is written by me, and performed by YouTube singer Jennifer Chung – and it’s called ‘Why Here, Why Now’.
And find the lyrics here as a post.

  1. Wow you're 17 and started writing at 12!? That's really admirable. I couldn't imagine caring about something so much so young haha. This sounds like a good book I like it when the characters actually act their age.

  2. Ooh, I love the cover! Interesting premise too. :)

  3. My God your only 17, and you started writing this book when you were 12, I'm impressed. Your book sounds interesting and I really like the cover too. I wish you the very best of luck with your debut novel and hope to see plenty more from you in the future.

    Great post.

  4. Awesome guest post! I can't believe she started writing so young. :) That's awesome! Thanks for sharing!
